2 Stages, 8 Bands, 2 Causes and 1 awesome night!

In October 2008 we came up with the idea of putting on a festival/gig type thing some where in Chippenham for 2 reasons, 1: to get the people together for a great night of entertainment &, 2: to raise money for a worthwhile cause. So, we have the Folk Fest, the north wilts fest & even Eddie Cochran is brought back to life once a year but what did we really want?

Namfest

Last year we raised well over £2,000 for Charity & got the people of Chippenham & surrounding areas together for a great night of Rocktastic entertainment so awesome…we blew the grid!!!

This year we will be putting on 8 bands from all over the UK on 2 Stages equipped with full lighting, sound & visual rigs, playing nonstop rock throughout the evening & into the wee small hours. We’ll have a BBQ and a fully licensed bar…

…the WORKS!

We will be sending all proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support and Souls and Shadows who help people with fighting life-threatening illnesses and there families through Music Therapy.

We feel that these are 2 causes that are extremely Worthwhile & we hope to get local & national business & the local council together to support this very cool event.

Namfest is set to be the ‘Supergig’ of 2010 & gives all of us a reason to reflect, raise money, kick off our summer & rockout to some great bands so make sure you’re there.
